Senior Review (First Level)

The user in the Preparer role can submit the assessment for review after making changes to the Draft Tax Computation. Click on SUBMIT FOR REVIEW button in the Draft Tax Computation tab.                                                                                                                                                    



If the assessment has a user assigned for the Reviewer role, the assessment is assigned to this user at this stage. The Reviewer cannot perform any actions until the assessment has been submitted to him/her.

As a user in the Reviewer role, you have to login to the system with your credentials to perform any actions on the assessment. The Workspace for a Reviewer looks like this,



As a user in the Reviewer role, you can Raise Reviews. Here are the steps to follow to raise a review,

  1. Select the ledger entries for which you would like to raise a review and click on RAISE REVIEW button.                                                                                       
  2. Upon clicking on the RAISE REVIEW button, a review is added to the Reviewer tab as shown below                                                                    
  3. In this window, you can view the ledger entries for which the review has been raised under  Ledger Entries. You can also add in comments under Review Comments.
  4. Resolution Comments are added by the Preparer.
  5. Under Actions, the Preparer or Reviewer can filter the Workspace to see the ledger entries for which the review has been raised.
  6. Under Actions, the Preparer or Reviewer can also click on the tick mark to resolve the review. This will change the Review Status from Open to Done.
  7. As a Reviewer, you can also click on the + button on the bottom right of the screen to write a review. This message gets added under Review Comments.                                                                                                                                                                                                           
  8.  Once the review is complete, you can click on the SUBMIT TO MANAGER button to pass the assessment to the next stage.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         


Manager Review (Second Level)

In the Manager Review stage, you have to be logged into the system with the manager role credentials. Until the assessment is passed to the manager, he/she cannot perform any actions on the assessment. In cases where no Reviewer role has been assigned to an assessment, the assessment comes to the Manager when Preparer submits for review. 
The Workspace in the manager role looks like this, 



As a user in the Manager role you can raise reviews. The steps to follow are same as the steps above to raise review as a Reviewer. 

The review raised will appear in the Manager Review tab.                                                                                                                                               



Just as in the Reviewer tab, you as a Manager can add Review comments and perform filter and Resolve actions. 

Once the review is done, you can click on APPROVE ASSESSMENT button to generate the final Client Computation. This will take about 10 to 20 seconds and the screen will refresh automatically to show the final tax computation documents in both pdf and excel formats in the Client Computation tab.
