Starting an Assessment by providing Consent


Note: Only a user in the Preparer role has the right to start working on an assessment
  1. To begin work on an assessment click on the assessment on the dashboard. This opens up a window that shows all the tabs that the assessment would be passing through. This window also shows the stage at which the assessment is currently at and important details pertaining to the assessment such as Basis period, Target date and Year of assessment.
  2. The assessment would be at the Assigned stage. On the Consent tab, upload a signed copy of the Engagement letter from the client. Once the document has been selected, click on UPLOAD. The stage changes to Consented.      

Note
1. The uploaded document represents the consent provided by the client for your firm to undertake this assessment and is typically a signed copy of engagement letter from your client.
2. Any format acceptable by the system.
3. This is a mandatory document but is not processed or read by the system and is for record keeping purpose only
